Product Discontinuation Notice – 951 / 953 UV Curing Systems

Dear Customer,

ADT will discontinue the manufacturing and sales of the 951 / 953 -UV Curing system effective immediately.

The discontinued 951 / 953 are replaced by the new improved 955 8” or 12” UV Curing system.

The purpose of this Product Discontinuation Notice is to describe ADT continuing program of sales, services and spare parts support for the existing installed base.

Please review this Notice carefully. Contact ADT Sales or Service staff if you have any questions about this program.

1. Background

ADT will discontinue the manufacture and sale of the 951 / 953 -UV Curing System effective immediately.

ADT will provide five years support program for the 951 / 953 Series. This program goal is to provide 951 / 953 customers with the Service and parts support needed to keep their machines in operation.

2. New 951 / 953 Series Sales

New 951 / 953 sales will not be available.

3. New Accessories and Options

ADT will continue the sales of standard accessories, options and retrofit kits to customers that use the 951 / 953.

Those accessories and Option will be available for sales for Limited 1 year, until Jan 1, 2008. Prices of accessories and options for the 951 / 953 may be increased after Jan 1, 2007 due to reduced purchasing quantities.

ADT at its discretion may not accept an order for a special accessory or option to an installed 951 / 953 machines.

4. Field Service Support

ADT will provide field service support for the 951 / 953 standard product line through Jan 1, 2012. The 951 / 953-service support program will include:

– Through Jan 1, 2012 ADT service will continue to provide routine maintenance and repair of all 951 / 953 Series (this may be limited by spare parts availability).

If you have any question about the kind of service support that will be available for your 951 / 953, please contact your regional service manager.

5. Spare Parts Support

ADT will sell standard 951 / 953 spare parts through Jan 1, 2012.

ADT may, at its discretion:

– Sell available spare parts from stock, or;

– Where feasible, recommend and sell substitute parts or conversion kits.

Prices of spare parts for the 951 / 953 may be increased after Jan 1, 2007 due to reduced purchasing quantities.

6. Documentation

All standard 951 / 953 documentation will be available through Jan 1, 2012.

7. Corrective actions programs

After Jan 1, 2008 ADT will not undertake corrective actions programs for equipment in the field.
